Your agreement with FinCaffe

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Ömür Turgut, operating FinCaffe under the developer name Omiron ("FinCaffe", "we", "us"). They govern the FinCaffe mobile application and related account and support services.

By creating an account or using FinCaffe, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity required to accept these Terms. Buddy discovery, matching, chat and in-person meetup features are available only to users aged 18 or older. By entering Buddy, you confirm that you meet that requirement and accept the current community rules.

Your account and your responsibilities

Provide accurate information, keep it reasonably up to date, and protect the sign-in method connected to your account. You may not sell, transfer or share an account; create an account for another person without authority; impersonate someone; or evade a prior restriction.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from a failure attributable to FinCaffe. Contact omur@posthumane.com promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable use

You must not use FinCaffe to break the law, infringe another person's rights, collect personal data without authority, distribute malware, probe or bypass security, manipulate quotas or scores, send spam, operate a scam, request money deceptively, or interfere with the service.

Buddy connections and real-world safety

Buddy is intended for adult cafe visits, study, coworking and similar work-oriented meetings. Fake profiles, harassment, threats, stalking, sexual or hateful content, pressure to share contact information, commercial solicitation and fraudulent behaviour are not allowed.

FinCaffe can help people discover one another, exchange messages and agree on a cafe plan. It does not conduct background checks, verify every statement, supervise conversations or attend meetups. A compatibility score, match or confirmed plan is not a guarantee of identity, conduct, safety or suitability.

Meet in a public place, tell someone you trust about your plan, protect financial and sensitive information, and leave any interaction that feels unsafe. Use the in-app block, end-connection and report tools where appropriate. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

FinCaffe may review reports, limit visibility, remove content, prevent contact, suspend features or close an account where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, investigate abuse, comply with law or protect people and the service.

Content you choose to add

You retain ownership of your profile information, photos, messages, notes, feedback and other original content. You are responsible for that content and confirm that you have the right to provide it.

You grant FinCaffe a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the features you use. For example, this allows a selected profile photo to appear to a Buddy candidate or a message to reach a match. The licence ends when the content or account is deleted, except where limited retention is legally permitted or technically necessary for a pending safety or legal matter.

Do not upload content that is illegal, deceptive, infringing, sexually explicit, hateful, threatening, invasive of privacy, or likely to harm another person. FinCaffe may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms.

Cafe information, scores and suggestions

FinCaffe combines available place information, selected preferences and contextual signals to help you compare cafes. Details such as opening hours, Wi-Fi, outlets, noise, seating, light, availability and prices can change or be incomplete. Check important details with the cafe before relying on them.

Scores, rankings, explanations, compatibility indicators and automated suggestions are estimates intended to support your decision. They are not professional advice or a promise that a cafe, person, route or plan will meet your needs. Sponsored placement does not change the independent score described by FinCaffe, although clearly identified commercial features may exist elsewhere in the service.

Optional purchases, subscriptions and rewarded ads

FinCaffe may offer free features, optional paid entitlements or subscriptions, and optional rewarded ads that grant limited feature access. The offer screen shows the current price, benefit and billing period before purchase.

Payments and recurring billing are processed by the app store connected to your device and are subject to that store's terms. A subscription renews only as described at checkout and can be managed or cancelled in the store account settings. Deleting FinCaffe does not by itself cancel a store-managed subscription. Refund eligibility and transaction records are handled under applicable law and the store's rules.

Rewarded ads are optional. A reward is granted only when the required ad event is confirmed. Availability, ad content and delivery can vary, and FinCaffe does not endorse every advertised product.

Availability, third-party services and liability

FinCaffe may rely on external services for maps, place information, account access, message and notification delivery, payments, optional ads and other supporting functions. Their availability and separate terms can affect a feature. FinCaffe is not responsible for an external service outside its reasonable control.

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FinCaffe does not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, complete cafe information, a specific match, or a particular outcome from a meetup or recommendation.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FinCaffe is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, the independent conduct of another user or cafe, or a decision made solely in reliance on an estimate. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Stopping use, account deletion and changes

You may stop using FinCaffe at any time. You can permanently delete the account through the app's Data Privacy Center or use the public Account Deletion page. Uninstalling the app or signing out does not delete the account.

FinCaffe may suspend or end access, with or without prior notice where law permits, if you materially breach these Terms, create a safety or security risk, misuse the service, or where the service must be changed or discontinued. Where reasonable, we will provide a route to ask about the decision.

These Terms may be updated to reflect the service, law or safety requirements. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel before they take effect where required. Continued use after the effective date means the updated Terms apply.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without excluding mandatory consumer protections or dispute rights that apply in your country of residence.
